The Revival Of Touch Screen Laptops

Touch screen laptops were once dubbed a major flop in the IT market. People struggle to find a legitimate use of a laptop with touch screen capabilities, and for those who appreciates touch screen interface, would often opt for a tablet, which is much lighter (without the keyboard that comes with a laptop) and easier to use (touch screen laptops were not ease at use traditionally).

To make things worse, the OS in which such laptops were running on, which is Windows XP in this case, do not support touch interfacing, which means that any touch screen capabilities were built on top of the existing framework, which is very prone to bugs and lagging performances.

Fortunately, with the introduction of iPad (the touch screen tablet everybody is talking about), attention has been brought to touch screen once again. This time around, touch screen laptops that are available on the market are equipped with both better hardware and better software.

This provides seamless experience on the user (they do not need to learn a new way to operate what they already knew).
